Terms of Use

Analytica provides cookieless product analytics: a tracker, a collector and worker you can run, and a dashboard for traffic, heatmaps, journeys, and exports. These terms cover use of the hosted product at analytica.dev, including docs, the demo, and paid plans.

By creating an account or sending events to an Analytica project, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, including teammates you invite and API or embed tokens you issue. Notify us if you believe the account is compromised.

You own the analytics data collected for your projects. You grant Analytica a license to process that data only to operate the service: ingestion, storage for your retention window, dashboards, alerts, embeds, and exports you configure.

You will not use the tracker to collect data you are not allowed to collect. That includes special-category data, credentials, and the contents of form fields. Mask sensitive elements, and publish a notice on your site that matches what you actually send. You are responsible for notices and legal bases that apply to your visitors.

You may not:

• Probe, overload, or bypass collector quotas, rate limits, or origin checks.
• Resell dashboard access as an unmarked analytics product.
• Upload malware or use exports and webhooks to attack another system.
• Misrepresent Analytica as collecting cookies or raw IP addresses when it does not.

We may suspend a project that threatens the service or other customers. Historical data remains subject to the retention window of the plan.

Free Forever does not require a card. Starter and Premium are billed through Lemon Squeezy at the prices shown on the pricing page, monthly or annually. Event quotas, project caps, and retention (30, 180, or 730 days) follow the plan in effect. Ingestion can be refused when a project is over its monthly quota; stored data stays available until retention deletes it.

You can change or cancel a paid plan in the Lemon Squeezy customer portal linked from the dashboard. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

The service is provided as available. Public status covers the collector, worker, database, and web app, and is not an uptime guarantee. Features can change between versions. Self-hosted collector and worker deployments are your responsibility to operate.

Analytics output is informational. Analytica does not warrant that metrics, heatmaps, or journeys are error-free or fit for a particular business decision. To the extent the law allows, Analytica is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the service. Liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the three months before the claim.

You may stop using Analytica and cancel billing at any time. We may close an account that materially breaks these terms. Sections that should survive — data ownership, the processing license for data still in retention, disclaimers, and liability limits — continue to apply.

We will post updated terms on this page and change the date at the top. Continued use after the update is acceptance of the new terms. Questions: privacy@analytica.dev.
