How Analytica treats crawler and LLM traffic.

The collector compares the User-Agent with a fixed list: GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, Bytespider, CCBot, and the generic tokens bot, spider, and crawler. A match is stored on the event as a bot and left out of the default dashboard, journeys, funnels, goals, and exports.

Turn on Include bots in the dashboard when you want those requests in the charts. The collector still answers with 204. Analytica does not show a challenge, block an IP, or drop the request.

What this does not catch

The check only reads the User-Agent. A client that sends a normal browser User-Agent is counted as a person. Raw IP addresses are not stored and are not used to decide.
